	This filly will look like a red roan in the summer, but will be red dun in winter if she lives in a cold climate. Most red roans look sorrel in the winter, but this filly won't, because she has both the roan and dun genes!

2009 Grullo Colt is by Crowheart WYO Boy

	Daltons Queen Chic and her 2009 Grullo Colt
	Black 1996 granddaughter of Peponita (Hall of Fame, NCHA; World Champion cutting) with seasonal brindle striping. Her colt has more striping than we've ever had on a grullo foal!
	12 of 14 horses on papers are earners!
	2009 superbly-striped grullo colt included in the package is by grullo roan Hancock-bred stallion, Crowheart WYO Boy.
	Chic would be best in a pasture-breeding or live-cover breeding program due to lack of socialization with people as a youngster. We strictly collect and AI, and I just don't feel comfortable being behind her inseminating her. She has never offered to kick, but it makes her very nervous to be palpated/inseminated and I'd prefer to have her live covered. So, she needs to move to a program where she is pasture bred or live covered.
	Because Chic is hard to catch, we will not sell her to an overseas home. I think the quarantine farm would not enjoy her due to her being hard to catch, especially when she would not have time to learn to trust the quarantine employees due to her short stay with them.
	$2500 2-in-1 package with her 2009 foal by Crowheart WYO Boy. This 2009 colt is either a grullo or grullo roan, with more stripes than we've ever had on a foal! We have priced this pair LOW because we need to have less mares on our pastures, and so want them to leave as soon as possible. This price does not include breeding the mare back. If we have her long enough to do that, the price will be much higher.

	We've all been waiting, and here she is! No doubt this filly will be one of the most eye-catching AQHA grullo mares in the world when she's grown up! She has a gorgeous little head, great legs, and looks like she'll be light silvery when she sheds off!
	Candy is about 22% Blue Valentine, so should have some cow sense and good work ethics...and all the pretty you could ask for to boot!
	When you can find quality with the color, it's always smart to attempt to get it. There's no need to look at lesser horses when something like this is offered for sale. If we had not lost our reining stallion, Rawhide Whiz, she would probably be a keeper for us. Unfortunately, we need to keep a foal by him now, so she is regretfully offered for sale.
