Grullo Filly
Foundation-bred filly from a stocky mare, Dandy
"What a little poppet!! Grace arrived late last
night in the pitch black. We had to unload them in the road, and walk the
half mile down my track to the farm. But she was so sensible, despite my
horses galloping around behind the hedges. She was starving when she got
here and has been stuffing hay and food ever since. I am going to put her
out on some good grass today.
She is a darling little person, what a pretty head
and massive hip. Her manners are perfect and she has such a sensible head
on her young shoulders. The truck driver wanted to keep her. Thank you
Toni for letting me have her, I am thrilled with her and I will email you

Dandy surprised us on 4/24/2005 with an early filly.

She has no white, and looks like she will be good
sized...similar to her dam in build.

She is lighter-colored than her half sister from 2004, who shed off
silvery blue. I believe Grace will be silver-blue toned as well.
***Update, August: Grace fooled me! She is, so far, looking like
her dam's color. Who knows what she will be in the spring, but my
guess "now" is more like her dam.
