2002 champagne Quarter Horse

We lost Cody on May 21, 2011 to a very rapid and severe colic. From the first sign, it appeared mild. Before the vet arrived, she was going downhill rapidly and pain medication didn't even reduce her discomfort. She quickly passed, and we would not have even had time to get her to Iowa State for colic surgery. It is a horrible loss for us, not just because of her fun color and her bloodlines. She was our Pasture Momma that even the children loved petting. She will be greatly missed.
